Fuel for you charter

For charters with fixed routes, such as our water taxi service, the fuel cost is included in the price, making your trip worry-free. For trips without a fixed route, the fuel cost is calculated based on actual consumption, ensuring you only pay for what you use.

The fuel consumed during your trip will be billed after the charter at a rate of €2.10 per liter. By pre-ordering fuel in multiples of 50 liters prior to the charter, we can plan your trip better and offer a reduced price of €1.90 per liter within the pre-ordered amount.

Fuel Consumption Guidance for Planning Your Charter

We have prepared some guidance to help you estimate how much fuel you may need for your trip. Typical fuel consumption looks like the estimates below:

Leisurely Cruise or Inland Cruising: Approximately 2.3 litres per nautical mile at a cruising speed of 5-8 knots.
Bay Cruising and City Hopping: Approximately 3.2 litres per nautical mile at a cruising speed of 25 knots.

Example Distances within Gdansk Bay:

- Gdańsk to Sopot:
  - Approximately 10 nautical miles
  - Approximately 48 minutes round trip
  - Consumes about 64 litres of fuel
- Gdańsk to Hel Peninsula:
  - Approximately 20 nautical miles
  - Approximately 96 minutes round trip
  - Consumes about 128 litres of fuel

Important Information

The regular fuel price is €2.10 per liter.
We will always have at least 200 liters of fuel on board.
The price of the pre-ordered fuel is €1.90 per liter.
When a fuel is pre-ordered, we will have the pre-ordered amount plus a spare ~150 liters of fuel on board.
Excess fuel used over the ordered amount will be charged at €2.10 per liter.
Exact fuel consumption values depend on sea conditions, the number of people on board, and other factors.
Exceeding the cruising speed of 25 knots will also increase fuel consumption.

Please note: Pre-ordered fuel should be selected as an add-on to each trip during the booking process.
