Cookie Policy

Effective date: 8 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage DinghyFleet uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It reflects what the application actually stores today — not tools we might add in the future.

This policy covers both DinghyFleet websites: the public marketing website at dinghyfleet.com and the application at app.dinghyfleet.com. Where a section describes storage that is set after you sign in, it applies to the application.

1. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Modern web applications also use closely related technologies — in particular localStorage and sessionStorage — which store information in your browser in the same way and are treated identically in this policy.

DinghyFleet is a single-page application, so most of what it stores uses browser storage rather than classic cookies. We refer to all of it as “storage” below.

2. Who operates this website

The platform is operated by DinghyFleet sp. z o.o., Jana Heweliusza 11/811, 80-890 Gdańsk, Poland. Questions about this policy can be sent to the address below.

The same company operates both dinghyfleet.com and app.dinghyfleet.com, and this policy applies to both.

We do not use analytics, advertising, remarketing, social plug-ins, session-replay or fingerprinting technologies, and we do not load any third-party tracker on our own pages.

4. Categories we use

Strictly necessary
Required for the platform to work: keeping you signed in, securing your session, remembering that you accepted the Terms, and recording your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off without breaking the service.
Functionality
Set only after you sign in, to deliver features you explicitly use: remembering your active organization and workspace, your language and interface preferences, your last marine-forecast location, and which guidance messages you already dismissed. They contain no tracking identifiers and are never shared.
Analytics
Not used. We currently load no analytics or measurement product on the platform.
Marketing
Not used. We do not run advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking.

DinghyFleet operates in essential-only mode: no non-essential tracking technology is loaded, so there is nothing to opt into. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before any such technology is loaded, and update this policy.

6. Managing storage

You can review or reset the cookie choice recorded in this browser at any time:

The cookie choice is recorded per browser inside the application. You can review or reset it in the application at app.dinghyfleet.com, or clear it together with other site data in your browser settings.

You can also block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Because our authentication and tenant context depend on essential storage, blocking it will sign you out and may prevent the platform from working correctly.

7. Third-party pages and transfers

When you pay for a subscription or open the billing portal, you are taken to pages hosted by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies there, including cookies required for security and fraud prevention, under its own cookie and privacy policies. The same applies if you sign in with Google: the sign-in page is operated by Google.

Any transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area associated with those services is covered by the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We review this policy whenever we change the technologies we use, and at least once a year. The current version is always published at /cookies with its effective date. Questions can be sent to:
